what is the cca rate for computer after Feb 2011
I understand businesses are allowed 100% CCA for computers (Class 52) in the first year that CCA deductions are available for the temporary two-year period on computer purchases after January 27, 2009 and before February 2011.

What happens after February 2011? What CCA rates apply?

RE: what is the cca rate for computer after Feb 2011
Class 52 100% depreciation is a temporary tax incentive. Class 50 at 55% CCA will continue for any purchases after March 18, 2007.

The Capital cost allowance (CCA) rate on computers depends on the date of purchase.

Class 10 (CCA Rate is 30%) applies to General purpose electronic data processing equipment (commonly called computer hardware) and systems software for that equipment acquired before March 23, 2004.

Class 45 (CCA Rate is 45%) applies to General purpose electronic data processing equipment (commonly called computer hardware) and systems software for that equipment acquired after March 22, 2004, and before March 19, 2007.

Class 50 (CCA Rate is 55%) applies to General purpose electronic data processing equipment (commonly called computer hardware) and systems software for that equipment, including ancillary data-processing equipment acquired after March 18, 2007

Class 52 (CCA Rate is 100%) applies to General purpose electronic data processing equipment (commonly called computer hardware) and systems software for that equipment, including ancillary data-processing equipment acquired after January 27, 2009, and before February 2011.
